Here are the Camps and Camp Descriptions for 2024:

4/5 Year Old Camp ( ages 4 to 5 years old ) – Calling all Scouts!  Come spend the week with us exploring God’s awesome strength in the 4 and 5 year old Talent Camp program! Your child will dive into activities geared towards eager learning and engage in a variety of hands on materials. Scouts will enjoy music class, arts and crafts, game time, and a special water play day on Friday!  Campers will have a dynamic experience all week that includes worship and solid teachings found in God’s word.  We look forward to this active, engaging week with your 4 & 5 year olds!

Basketball Camp (ages 6 years to 6th grade) – Basic and fundamental camp of basketball for intermediate and beginning players who love the game of basketball.  Separated by height and ability we will go over skill testing and breaking down the game for a better understanding.  Will include dribbling and shooting evaluations and learning offense and defense plays.  We keep the fun going with scrimmage games while understanding the true meaning of fellowship in Christ.

Dance Camp (ages 6 years to 6th grade) – In this camp, we will be learning the basic and fundamental skills of how to dance ballet. We also will be learning and understanding how we can bless others through our dancing for the Lord. This will consist of fun arts and crafts relating to dance, and of course, ballet dancing! We will be teaching steps each day that will compile into one routine which we will perform at the end of the week. See you there!

Karate Camp (ages 6 years to 6th grade) – In karate we train to sharpen our bodies and our minds. Martial promotes qualities like self discipline, focus, humility and respect. Each of these characteristics can be used in helping us to live out a Christian life. You will learn basic and fundamental techniques of karate. Once we have those basics learned, we will move on and combine those movements and learning various self-defense techniques.  This is a safe and fun environment to learn about how to glorify God with our bodies and through our talents!

Breakdancing Camp (ages 6 years to 6th grade) – It’s a full week of breakdancing and learning about Jesus!  Your child will learn all the basic foundational moves such as top tock, floor work, power moves, and freezes.  This is a safe and fun environment to learn about breakdancing and how to dance for God’s glory.

Crafting Camp– (ages 6 years – 6th grade) - Campers enrolled in this class will create one-of-a-kind crafts/art they can share with those they love! Each day a different skill will be covered! Crafters will see how sharing beautifully handmade art & using their spiritual gifting to lift others up with encouragement and compassion gives God the glory. Campers in Crafting will take home their created masterpieces at the end of the week!

Art Camp – (ages 6 years – 6th grade) - Campers enrolled in this class will create one-of-a-kind art they can share with those they love! Each day a different skill & art style will be covered! Campers will see how sharing beautifully handmade art & using their spiritual gifting to lift others up with encouragement and compassion gives God the glory. Campers in Art will take home their created masterpieces at the end of the week!

Cooking Camp - (ages 6 years – 6th grade) – Come and learn how to create beautifully decorated yummy treats and tasty dishes.  Your camper will learn the process of combining ingredients, cooking, baking, and decorating some delicious recipes.  They will also learn the art of food presentation, and the gift of hospitality.  This will teach the camper to bless others with the gift of serving while giving the glory to God and showing them love as Jesus did.

Drama Camp (ages 6 years – 6th grade) – We will teach each aspect of putting on a play, from lead actor to stage hands to writer, and everything in between!  This includes presenting our own play during Friday’s showcase for all the parents!  It will be a fun-filled environment, using drama games, improvisation games, and monologues.  We will encourage campers to use their own creativity to help shape our play into their own master piece.  Drama camp will be a place where all children, from the shy to the outgoing can develop at their own pace, with plenty of positive encouragement.  Throughout the week we will learn how drama can be used to teach others about Jesus and how speaking in front of others makes it easier to share God's Word, even when you aren’t on stage.

Music Camp- (ages 6 years – 6th grade) – Make a joyful noise! Come learn the basics of percussion & rhythm! This camp will encourage the campers to use this unique gifting and skills to bless others in many ways! Some ways include using these simple rhythmic patterns, rhythm instruments and body percussion to help memorize scripture, remember Bible facts, and accompany worship songs. Look forward to giving God the glory through this camp experience!

Soccer Camp- (ages 6 years – 6th grade) - Campers will become more comfortable with a soccer ball and grow in their confidence in their identity in what's most important - Jesus! It's not just about winning, but about learning to be a leader, have a servant's heart, and work with others. Each day campers will write their bible verse of the day on their soccer ball and learn that playing soccer is a great way to include others and create relationships.

God’s Gardening Camp – (ages 9 years – 6th grade) – God has blessed us with His incredible Creation! Our goal in this camp to dig in ( literally!) and get our hands dirty while we learn about some of the intricate details of His wondrous works in plants big and small.  He created an environment we can use to give Him glory and bless other creation with! We plan to incorporate individual’s creative abilities as well as our knowledge we glean form the week to make some beautiful plant gifts and creations! At the end of the week all students will have something that they made to take home.

Woodworking Camp – (ages 9 years – 6th grade) – Woodworking camp is all about following directions, measuring accurately, choosing the right tools, and working together. All participants will build 2-3 projects by hand with the assistance of one of several adult leaders. All materials are supplied. The skills campers learn will give them confidence to try even larger projects and perhaps projects that are outside of woodworking (plumbing, electrical, metal work, etc.) Most of all, in one week of woodworking camp, everyone will learn to measure, hammer, and nail with the utmost care, realize the joy of starting and finishing a project, and help those around them do the same. It's the love of our neighbor and the willingness to serve that is the greatest gift gained from woodworking camp.

Sewing Camp- (ages 9 years – 6th grade) – Come learn the basics of machine sewing from beginners or those with some experience.  We will be making several projects such as patchwork cushions, pillows, & more! We hope to pass along a love for creating with color & fabric and encourage the campers to use this unique gifting and skills to bless others.
